Sports Nutrition; Nutrition For Dancers & Performers


Nutritional therapy/training diets to help you achieve an ideal lean body mass, regulate muscle growth,  improve performance, reduce recovery time between training/performances, target emotional balance & minimize risk of injury. Sports-specific programs are also available and address such topics as pre-game meals and quicker post-workout recovery.  

Training diets plus expert recommendations for safe use of vitamins, minerals and amino acids to help maximize muscle growth, athletic performance and minimize risk of injury.  Our 12 week program includes customized meal plans, pre-competition nutrition, and protocols for maximizing your workouts, reducing inflammation and pain from old injuries, as well as close monitoring of your progress to help you reach your nutrition and fitness goals.


Body Building Nutrition

I offer Training diets as detailed above plus expert recommendations for safe use of vitamins, minerals and amino acids to help maximize muscle growth, workouts and minimize risk of injury. 


NOTE: My first degree was in exercise science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. It was an exciting time to be studying exercise physiology! My faculty advisor and professor in many of my classes was Gary R. Hunter, PhD, one of the country's most accomplished researchers in progressive resistance training and body composition. We were very fortunate to benefit from his expert instruction and he always delighted in entertaining our questions. In his classes I learned how to create the most effective workout/dietary programs for losing body fat and building lean body mass (muscle). I was first formally introduced to exercise science by one of my biology teacher in high school, Coach Hank Williford, PhD (now at Auburn University) who shared his specialized knowledge with us enthusiastically, as he was also completing his graduate work at the time.
