Whereas I do not accept insurance directly I am always glad to provide my patients with a detailed record of our work together so that they may submit it to their insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Coverage of weight loss or medical nutrition therapy with a registered dietitian varies, depending upon your provider. Fee free to phone us for more information (205.915.0474)
My educational background encompasses both the area of human nutrition and exercise science. I am a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist as well as a Fitness Specialist.
Yes. I have an office in the Vestavia Hills/Cahaba Heights area of Birmingham, Alabama (just off of Highway 280, near The Summit shopping center), where I see my local patients. Of course my services are ONLY available by phone until the COVID-19 crisis is over. However, my services have always been available by phone, so that men, women, children and families in other areas can consult with me without driving long distances. Also, telephone consultations are helpful to those with particularly busy schedules. For example, you may wish to schedule a lunchtime session from your office at work, or a session before or after work hours.
I am always glad to help match you with a primary care physician who possesses the qualities and specialties for which you seek. If you become a patient we will spend a concentrated amount of time together discussing your health and I will be glad to provide information about several area doctors whom I feel offer excellent care for your particular issues. Hopefully, this will help you make your final decision.
Call us and set up an appointment. I will obtain your health history by phone. If you are seeing me at my local office (after the COVID-19 crisis has concluded) you can either complete your paperwork prior to your visit or print forms from the FOR PATIENTS Tab and bring them with you to your appointment.. Click below to learn more about becoming a patient.
You are only a phone call away!
We will be glad to answer any questions you might have.

No. I am in private practice. I have been in private practice for 19 of the 23 years that I have been a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist. I do, however, receive referrals from many physicians of various specialties (primary care physicians, gastroenterologists, ENT/allergy specialists, chiropractors and other doctors). I am always glad to provide a copy of my nutrition notes to your health care practitioners so that we can all stay on the same page. Click the button below to read more about my work history.
